About

The Boone Central Public School Instrumental Music Department is made up of any student interested in participation.  All ensembles provide students with an opportunity to enjoy rehearsing and performing a wide variety of music.  Current ensemble offerings are: 9-12 Band, 9-12 Jazz Band, 7-8 Band, 6th Grade Band and 5th Grade Band.

A little about Ms. Jones...
Ms. Whitney Jones is in her first year of teaching in the Boone Central Public Schools.  She is certified to teach Instrumental Music Kindergarten-12th grade and Vocal Music Kindergarten-6th grade.  Jones received her Bachelor of Music Education degree with high distinction from Nebraska Wesleyan University in May of 2007.

Ms. Jones has maintained a private studio for the past four years and is now enjoying teaching private lessons in Albion as well as Norfolk.  Jones is an active member of the Music Educators National Conference (MENC), Nebraska Music Educators Association (NMEA), Nebraska State Bandmasters Association (NSBA), and Suzuki Associations of the Americas (SAA).
