We will be using LtoJ as part of the band curriculum this year to chart our improvement in vocabulary. Band can be likened to learning a new language, having its own set of symbols and words which must be understood in order for musicians to understand one another.
LtoJ Quizzes will occur every Tuesday (exceptions October 1st and March 25th)
Vocabulary Tests will occur at the end of each quarter: October 14, December 16, March 10 & May 12.
Quizzes will have 5 questions each week, any of the students vocabulary words can be randomly selected and repeated. Quizzes do not count towards student grades, however the students success on quizzes will most likely be an indication of students test grades.
