PHYSICAL EDUCATION 9

Prerequisite: None

Physical Education I covers activities with the goal to improve fitness and knowledge of lifetime activities. Students will have access to the community center for units on racquetball, walleyball and swimming. Gym shoes, shorts and appropriate shirts are required. Appropriate swimwear is required for the swimming unit at the center.

LIFETIME SPORTS

Grades: 10-12

Length: Year

Prerequisite: Physical Education

Lifetime Sports deals with the various lifetime recreational sports available in later life. Gym shoes and clothes are required.

WELLNESS

Grades: 10-12

Length: Year

Prerequisite: Physical Education

Wellness covers the study of concepts of physical fitness and motor skill development. Gym shoes and appropriate gym clothes are required.
