COMPUTER I
Grades: 10-12
Length: Semester
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Algebra I and enrollment in Geometry
Computer I introduces students to BASIC programming language. Problem solving techniques are stressed.
COMPUTER II
Grades: 10-12
Length: Semester
Prerequisite: Computer I
Computer II covers detailed work in arrays, matrix, random and sequential text files.
COMPUTER III
Grades: 11-12
Length: Semester
Prerequisite: Computer II& instructor permission.
Computer III introduces beginning PASCAL programming. All programs are written in a structured environment.
COMPUTER IV
Grades: 11-12
Length: Semester
Prerequisite: Computer III & instructor permission.
Computer IV continues the study of PASCAL through file handling and sorting procedures.
INDEPENDENT COMPUTER
Grade: 12
Length: Semester
Prerequisite: Computer IV & instructor permission.
Independent Computer covers Web Site development, projects in Photoshop and/or iMovie, PASCAL programming, and is individualized to student interests.
