STUDENT DRESS
Dress should be modest and in good taste. An individual's dress, personal appearance and cleanliness, like his behavior, should reflect sensitivity to and a respect for others. The fact that a school will permit a wide variety in school clothes does not mean that all styles are equally appropriate. Clothing containing vulgar language, obscenities, suggestive or inappropriate subject matter is prohibited. A student's midriff will not be showing when standing in relaxed mode. All garments with spaghetti straps, single straps or no straps are not allowed unless an appropriate cover up is worn also. Violators will be disciplined. Hats, caps, or bandannas are not to be worn in the building either during school or during school activities. The final decision of the appropriateness of dress rests with the principal.
