Immunization Requirements:
3 doses of DTaP, DTP, or DT vaccine, one given after the 4th
birthday
3 doses of Polio vaccine
2 doses of MMR vaccine, given on or after 12 months of age
and separated by at least one month
3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine

- Things you can do to get your child ready for Kindergarten:
- READ TO YOUR CHILD: A child needs to have been read 1,100
books before he/she is ready to read.
Recite nursery rhymes and sing songs
Play number games and count with your child
Help your child cut with scissors
Teach your child his name and how to print it correctly (First
letter capitalized, the rest lower case)
Give your child responsibilities and directions to follow
Give your child play-doh, puzzles, pencils, markers, beads
to string, and teach them to button and zip clothing
Play board games like Chutes and Ladders, Candyland and Memory
