Clarkson 54, Shelby 16

   CLARKSON - The Class D-1, No. 4 Clarkson football team led Shelby at the end of a high scoring first quarter 22-14 before the Red Devils began to pull away in the second quarter and eventually cruised to a 54-16 victory Friday evening.
    Clarkson was led by Michael Konicek on the ground with 15 attempts for 144 yards, followed by Jeff Stoklasa who had three attempts for 33 yards as the Red Devils totaled 205 yards on the ground.
    The Red Devils were led by quarterback Brandon Dinslage, who completed five of eight attempts for 125 yards.
    Shelby was led by Jake Hopwood, who completed 12 of 19 passing attempts for 125 yards.
    The Huskies were led on the ground by Seth Houdersheldt, who had 27 carries for 67 yards.
