Clarkson gets shutout to move on

CLARKSON-  The Clarkson football team defeated Bruning-Davenport 38-0 in the second round of the D-1 playoffs Wednesday night.
    The Red Devils were led by Eric Brabec and Michael Konicek, who combined for almost 200 yards rushing.  Brabec gained 101 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries, and Konicek went for 97 yards and one touchdown on 15 carries.  Brandon Dinslage added 58 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.
    "I have to compliment the play of the defensive line for their ability to dictate the game," Clarkson head coach Jim Clarkson said.
    Clarkson advances to the quarterfinals to play No. 5 Humboldt-Table Rock Steiner.
