MEDIA CENTER SERVICES

The media center is available for personal reading, research, and special study. Reference materials, periodicals, general reading material, a typewriter and computers are provided for the enrichment and support of regular class materials. The Media Specialist establishes which materials may be removed from the media center and due dates for their return. Students are to return all materials promptly as materials are limited and others are likely to be waiting for them to be returned. The Media Specialist also establishes a system of fines for late materials. Passes will be limited per study hall, according to available seating. The media center Macintosh lab is available for student use during the school day and has Internet capabilities. Use of computers or Internet for non-school purposes or other inappropriate uses will cause the student to lose access to those resources.
