Welcome to Room 6! Heroes to Imitate Each month the third grade in Room 6 will be studying in depth the life of a saint or a holy person. They are making a booklet having the story of the saint or person and coloring pictures of them. The children are encouraged to follow and practice the virtues of these saints. In September they learned about, Mary, St. Vincent de Paul and Brother Simon VanAckeren. For October they learned about St. Francis of Assisi, Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta and the Holy Father, Pope John Paul II. The study for November is on St. Martin de Porres, St. Francis Xavier Cabrini and St. Cecelia.
