Expectations and Rules
Grading: Grades are based on a point system.
Total points attained/Total points available
-Assignments are usually worth 5 points -Quizzes will be worth anywhere from 10 to 50 points -Pop quizzes will usually be worth 5 points -Tests will be worth anywhere from 70 to 100 points -Problems of the week will be worth 5 points
CLASSROOM PROCEDURES: -go over any questions there might be on the previous asignment -lecture and notes -assignment and work time -answer questions, finish up notes, assignment -classroom activity on occassion
CLASSROOM RULE -One simple rule: 1. Be respectful to me and to your classmates.
FIVE KEYS TO SUCCEEDING IN THIS CLASS 1. Come to class prepared. 2. Do what your supposed to do(pay attention, take notes, and do assignments). 3. Ask questions in and out of class 4. Come in for extra help when needed. 5. Study for tests and quizzes.
