Program Supervision consist of two components.

The first includes administrative support for the following:
  • Assistance with completion of all reports required by the Nebraska Department of Education (includes final financials, plan and budget, transportation, etc.)
  • Technical assistance in developing/implementing special education policies and procedures consistent with legal mandates.
  • Assistance with the standards review process conducted by NDE.
  • Technical assistance to school district personnel regarding federal/state regulations.
  • Access to district-wide professional staff development programs to update school district personnel on issues related to students with special needs.
The second component of program supervision refers to the administration of and central office support for the ESU 7 special education professionals who deliver direct services to students.
