Hearing Services refer to services available to identify hearing impaired students.

Sue Van:
Sue VanHousen

Sue attended the University of Nebraska Kearney and the University of North Dakota where she received her Master's Degree in Speech Pathology.  She received an endorsement  in Deaf Education from the University of Nebraska in Omaha.  Sue also attained her certification as a Transition Specialist from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.  Sue has worked for ESU 7 for 14 years.

Sue provides deaf education services and/or consultation for students verified as deaf or hard of hearing in the following counties: Boone, Butler, Colfax, Merrick, Nance, Platte and Polk.  Sue works with audiologists to ensure appropriate aural rehabilitation services to students, families and schools.
