Ms. Swartz≠ Tips for a Great Year Please follow these helpful procedures to make the class run smoothly.
· Please enter the classroom quietly and begin the posted assignment right away
· Please use the proper headingÓname, block, subject, assignment
· Please write a letter to your grandma or read a book if you finish early
· Please stand for prayer and recite with the class
· Please bring these things to class every day: textbook, loose-leaf paper, pencil, eraser, calculator, thinking cap, completed homework assignment, and a positive attitude
· Please be prepared and willing to answer any question I pose to the class
· Please raise your hand if you don≠t understand, I am going to fast, you have a question, or you would like to make an appropriate comment
· Please get your assignment from the Absence Folder (not from me) when you have been gone. You have 2 days to make it up or it is a zero.
· Please use Access Time if you need extra help
· Please use the restroom during passing period unless it is an extreme emergency
· Please stay in your seat until the bell rings

· Please listen when another person is talking, especially the teacher
· Please contribute to a Christian atmosphere with your speech and actions
· Please take responsibility for your own learning, including academic integrity
· DO NOT interfere with the learning of someone else
· DO NOT make fun of others or hurt other≠s feelings

Please be advised that these consequences will follow any infraction of the rules
· First offense: verbal warning
· 2nd offense: 15 minute conference with the teacher after school on Thursday
· 3rd offense: 30 minutes after school on Thursday and a call to your home
· 4th offense ( it better not get this far!): all of the above and an office referral
