          Geography          

          Geography studies the relationships between people, places, and environments by mapping information about them.

Objective of the class:  The student will learn to use maps and other geographic representations, tools, and technologies to acquire, process, and report information.

 Classroom instruction will include the following:

          1.  Reading the textbook

          2.  Reading maps

          3.  Learning vocabulary

          4.  Reading and making graphs

          5.  Completing projects

          6.  Taking notes on the textbook material

          7.  Taking quizzes and tests

Materials needed:

          - a 3 ring binder

          - a spiral notebook  

          - pencils

          - colored pencils

          - markers
