STUDENT RESPONSIBILITES -Being respectful to others and other's property. -Getting the assignments accurately recorded in the assignment book. -Following the directions. -Working honestly and accurately. -Doing every assignment completely. -Making an effort to get assistance if it is needed. -Doing assignments when sick and making sure they are handed in to me. -ALL ASSIGNMENTS ARE DONE IN PENCIL. -Must be in the assigned seat by the second bell. -Must follow the dress code set down by the school. -Late homework must be handed in and results in one grade less than points earned. GRADING -Student grades are calculated by keeping track of the total points a student earns divided by the total points that are posssible. The importance of the assignments determines the number of points assigned to that assignment. Various points come from daily assignments, chapter tests, quarter tests, semester tests, quizzes, and participation. -Participation is being prepared, having assignments done on time, never late to class, listening in class, and not disturbing the others with disruptive talking, etc. -Cheating results in a 0% on the assignment, a referral, and a call to your parents informing them of the incident. SUPPLIES -A package of loose leaf ppaer -A spiral notebook for vocabulary and notes -A 2 pocket folder for keeping assignment papers. -A red pen and a highlighter. -Several pencils and at least 2 sharpened before each class. -A calculator-- preferrably a TI-30Xa -A clear protractor.
