All About Mrs. Negus
Hi!
I am Heather Negus (formerly Heather Schuller) and I am your child's
third grade teacher. I am also the 9th/JV grade girls volleyball coach.
I
am originally from Central City and graduated from CCHS in 2000. I
continued my education at Wayne State College, receiving a Bachelor of
Science Degree in elementary education and pursuing a coaching
endorsement. While at Wayne State College, I played on
the volleyball team for 4 years. I completed my student teaching
fall of 2004 in Palmer. (I student taught in the 3rd grade!) I
then graduated from Wayne State in December, 2004. Before
teaching full-time, I substitute taught in the CCPS system as well as
in other area schools. I am currently working towards my Masters
Degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Doane College.
I
married Dan Negus in June, 2005. Dan is a highschool math teacher
at CCHS and has taught Algebra I and II, Geometry, and Transitional
Math. He is also the Head Girls Basketball coach as well as
an assistant coach for football. Dan is originally from
Tilden, NE and also graduated from Wayne State College. We have a
son named Karter and a minature weiner dog named Daisy.
This
is my fourth year of teaching. My door is always open to
questions, concerns, and of course volunteers! I am looking
forward to a terrific year in the 3rd grade!
