Classroom Policies

STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO:
1) Follow all school policies set forth in the student handbook.
2) Be prepared for class with paper, writing utensil, and appropriate textbook.
3) Respect others and their property.
4) Respect the learning environment by not disrupting classroom instructional time or study time.
5) Use study time as such, with talking kept to a minimum as allowed by teacher.

GRADING PROCEDURES
>>> Students may receive daily grades, quiz grades, and test grades throughout the quarter.
>>> Daily grades will be averaged together. Quiz grades will be averaged together. Test grades will be averaged together.
>>> Those averages will then be averaged together on the following weighted system:

Daily Average x 1
Quiz Average x 2
Test Average x 3

>>> The sum of these will then be divided by 6 to determine the student's grade for the class.

>>> Extra credit will not be offered. If the student does the classroom work required, asks questions or asks for help when appropriate, and studies effectively for quizzes and tests, then extra credit should not be needed.

>>> Students required to work in the alternative room will receive half credit for work completed there.
