I am married and live in Columbus, Nebraska. My husband is a Social Studies and Economics teacher. We are fortuante to be able to share the same profession. We have also coached softball together for nearly 16 years and we love it! I have been teaching for ten years. Seven of those have been at St. Francis Elementary as the Social Coordinator for 4th, 5th and 6th Grades. I love my job and the opportunities it gives me to get to know my students and to continue to teach them through 6th Grade. My husband and I thoroughly enjoy to travel and it is wonderful to share with the students the stories, sights and information that we gather on our trips. It connects things together for them and helps to make the subject matter a little more interesting! I believe that learning is discovering that something is possible and I hope that when students leave my classroom that is what they believe also!
