ART ROOM RULES & PROCEDURES
<o:p> </o:p>
Be safe. Be
respectful. Be responsible.
<o:p> </o:p>
CLEAN-UP
Put things away before you leave the room.
If you do not put things away where they belong and leave
the tables clean, you will need to spend 5 minutes of detention with me at the
time that I choose--before school, after school, or at lunch--on the following
day. If you don‚t know where things go,
ASK me or someone else. Do not put
things on my desk or the supply table unless that is where you got it from or I
tell you to put it there. Be responsible
for yourself and your group. If I don‚t
know who it was at the table who did not put something away, your whole group
will stay for detention.

ASSIGNMENT SHEETS/MAKE-UP SLIPS:
Assignment Sheet/Make-up Slips should be filled out BEFORE
you hand it to a teacher. Write your
name, the date, and label your class periods.
<o:p> </o:p>
If you have been gone, I will put your assignment on your
make-up slip. You have double the time to make it up (if you are gone one day,
you have two days to get work made up.) If assignment sheets are not signed and
the work completed within that time, you will receive a zero for each day
missed.
<o:p> </o:p>
If you are going to be gone, I need to write the assignment
and sign your assignment sheet. I may
not sign it until you have done the work.
It is your responsibility to check when you return to make sure you are
caught up.
<o:p> </o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
FREQUENT ABSENCES:
If you miss my class more than five times a semester, you
will need to find a time that works for both of us for you to come in and make
up class time. I will not be using our
class time to get you caught up. I am
always here in the mornings before school starts and often here at lunch, 8th
hour, and after school. If time is not
made up within the allotted time (double the time you were absent), you will
receive a zero for the days missed. It
is important to be in class to get information and to use the time given to
you.
