REMINDERS
The Christmas concert is scheduled for Monday, December 15th at 7:00 p.m. at Scotus Memorial Hall. Students should wear nice clothes and be in the Scotus cafeteria by 6:40 p.m.
We will have an All School Assembly on Thursday in the Social Hall. All parents are welcome to attend. It will begin at 2:50 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 19th is a 12:00 dismissal day. All kindergartners should come to school at 8:00 a.m. We will attend All School Mass. The kindergartners willl all be dismissed at 12:00 from the west kindergarten door.
The kindergarten classes exchanged names for Advent angels.
Each student should bring a little something under $1.00 to give
to their advent angel. You may wrap the gift if you would like. Please put to: and from: on the gift. Please have your advent angel gift to school by Thursday. If you child does not bring a gift to exchange, they will not receive a gift.

HOMEWORK IDEAS
Reading - Have your child do their "Kk" page in their ABC Book. Have them color and read the "My Little Kk Book" to the family. Find a "Kk" show and tell item for Thursday.
Math- Have your child practice writing numbers 0 - 9.
Religion - Visit with your child about Advent. Ask your child what piece we put in our Advent box each day. They will bring home their Advent boxes on Thursday. Have them tell you about each piece in their Advent box.
THIS WEEK'S HAPPENINGS
Reading - We will learn about letter "Kk" this week. Our vowac saying is: "Kk, kind king, /k/." We will have Show and Tell on Thursday with items that begin with /k/ sound.
Math- This week we will solve problems by using the guess and test strategy. We will also solve problems by using a model.
Religion- This week we will finish our Advent boxes.
