SPEECH I
We are beginning the second quarter with an informative speech.
Students have gone to the library to gather sources and are beginning
to write their formal outline. We will then begin working on
visual aids and presentation skills. Topics are all over the
board - Irish dancing, the deer population in Nebraska, El Salvador,
pregnancy nutrition, and the Andersonville prision.
Parents...please encourage your child to practice their speech in front
of you and other family members. Not only is it great practice
for the kids, but you will learn something new and interesting - I
promise!
