Sharon Christensen called the meeting to order.

Treasurers Report:

Deb Houdek reported that there was currently $2389.28 in the account.  There had been recent transactions of $845.00 deposited for band calendars ads and $250.00 paid for McDonald's coupons and $500.00 paid to the Choreographer.

Deb asked to be reimbursed for the purchase of Harvest of Harmony rolls and juice.  The request was moved and a second was given.

Tammie and Deb discussed the incoming checks for band calendar ads.

Secretaries Minutes:

Tammie read the minutes, from the last meeting, and addendum was made to state the Choreographer was given $500.00 instead of $1200.00.

Old Business:

The calendars are being delivered, by Tammie, to the businesses that bought ads.  The calendars, sold by students have been delivered to the school and distributed to the students.

Adam reported that the Younkers coupon sales were going well.  Currently, there has been $1000.00, in coupons, sold.

Sharon Christensen brought up fund raising ideas.  The idea of a middle school dance was pursued.    Sharon will check with dates available.  It was decided to try to find a location, other than school, to host the dance, so that we can sell concessions and make the money they would bring in.  Deb Houdek will get glow in the dark necklaces, etc. to also sell.  It was decided to charge the students $4.00 and give them a pop coupon.  The dance would run from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm.  We will also try to get some of the show choir kids to help sponsor.  Possible dates include November 17, December 1 or December 8 and would be open to 5th - 8th graders.

Deb asked if we should ear mark our fund raising profits for specific endeavors.  It was a general consensus that this was a good idea.

New Business:

Sharon Christensen will also speak to Mr. Shoemaker, about a possible fund raiser, at a Basketball game, in January or February.

Adam reported on the choreographer and said he was very impressed with her.  The kids learned a lot and seemed to really enjoy her.

Adam asked for help, with the purchase of show choir costumes.  Tammie moved to try to help with part of the cost.  Sharon seconded

Adam also asked for snacks and drinks, for the show choir/choreographer session, on November 12.  Tammie will make a pan of bars and Sharon Christensen will get another parent to make a second pan.  Sharon Christenson and Sharon Gilg will each bring 18 bottles of juice drinks.

Veterans Day parade is November 11.  It is unknown if Mr. Zeller will need help with the band.
