Here is a copy of the Social Studies Rubric.

Beginning Progressing Proficient Advanced Content Project contains little to none of the chapter content Project contains some of the chapter content Project contains all of the content required; content may be lacking in detail Project contains much detail; Project includes additional information not covered in the text Organization Project is messy and disorganized Project has a basic organization but is confusing in parts Project is organized according to the list of requirements in question/answer format; Vocabulary is listed at the end of content Organization of project is in mature format vocabulary is embedded within the project Creativity Project has no creative effort Project is basic in creativity; little effort was given Project is creative and student effort is visible Project is unique and showcases student talent and shows much effort Ease of Understanding Project is confusing Project has everything required but grader must search for it All the information is easy to access from project Grader can locate all information immediately; very easy to follow the creators process Participation Student did not participate Student had a small role in project Student participated and did his or her share with out going above and beyond Student was leader or active member of the team; Partners did an equal share of the work; Student did project alone
