About Home

Geography
Geography will offer the student a chance to better understand world cultures and how they interact. Background information such as location, climate, land forms, and other geographic data of each area will be studied. Mapping will also be an important segment of this class.

Early World History
Early World History is the study of major periods of mankinds social and political development from the early civiliztions to the Renaissance. This course will focus on the four river valley civilizations, to the establishment of societies developed by the Greeks and Romans. The course concludes with the exciting times of the Middle Ages.

Modern World History
Modern World History is the study of major periods of mankinds social and political development from the Renaissance to the present. This course will focus on significant events of the Renaissance and Reformation, the development of the European state, and both world wars. Other units include the strategies society uses to deal with change and how religion has played a role in the modern world.
