Vowac Weekly Spelling Homework
First grade expectations:
1. A daily guided reading book will be brought home by your child to read every night.
2. Your child should be re-reading the take-home stories that he/she has been bringing home. These should be stored in a special book box. Have your child re-read a few books every night to continue to build reading fluency.
3. Your child may have occasional papers to bring home as homework because he/she didn't get it finished in class. These will be stamped homework. Please have your child complete and return to school the next day.
