Husband - Michael, former teacher who now is part-time activities director at Prairie Village in Columbus
Daughter - Julie - 30, A graduate of UNK who works in Kearney
Son - Alan - 25, a graduate of UNL who is a civil engineer for the state of Nebraska in Lincoln. He is engaged to Danielle Herchenbach originally from Columbus; they will be married on September 24.2005.
Daughter - Lori - 22, was a May 2005 graduate from UNMC with a medical technologist degree. She passed her boards and is working for MDS in Lincoln. She is engaged to be married to Scott Zegar originally from Columbus . They will be married May 13, 2006.
Daughter - Katie - 18, is attending college at Concordia University in Seward. She is a Biology major and will be running cross country and track.
