Chemistry is the study of matter and its changes. The atom and the development of our knowledge of the atom is studied. The periodic table is a tool used to study the reactivity of the elements and elements properties.

Physical Science is the study of energy, matter and its interactions. Parts of the course are related to Chemistry and others to Physics. Lab activities, projects and group work are important parts of the class.

Biology is the study of life. Topics that are covered include the cell and cell parts, ecology, interdependence of organisms, classification of organisms, genetics, heredity and inheritance.

Anatomy and Physiology is the study of the human body and how it works. Beginning with the atom and ending with the body systems, the class attempts to show the relationship that exists between how things are formed and what they are able to do.
