What a blessing God has given us with this beautiful weather! Thank you God for your many gifts.
Here is what we are studying!
Reading - We have started our 20th reading book. Our new adventure is a play about the Three Little Pigs. Be watching for a video to be coming home.
Phonics - Blends have been our topic of study. There are a lot of rules to remember but we are doing great. Ask your child to clover mark a one or two syllable word.
Spelling - Some hard words have been coming home. But with our phonics connection, we can figure out the spelling by applying the rules.
Religion - Jesus is our caring friend. We discussed all the wonderful people in our lives that act for Jesus by caring for us.
Handwriting- We are finishing up in our handwriting books. Later this month we will be moving on to animal poetry.
Math- We are reviewing subtraction facts and are nearing the end of this chapter. We will be testing in about a week. We are also working on problem solving by using pictures and charts.
English- We are just finishing up writing our stories about an adventure that we took a snowman on. We will be also working on verbs that describe action and putting events in logical order.
Social Studies- We have been talking about how we can keep the Earth clean and protect our natural resources.
