Gospels Come Alive

The Gospels came alive in the 7th Grade Religion class as students reenacted the gospel accounts of John 13: 1-4 - Jesus washing the disciples' feet; Mark 2: 1-12 - Jesus healing the paralytic; and Luke 15: 21-32 - The feast for the Lost son. Groups had to write dialogue and plan the costuming and props for each reenactment.

We are exploring the similarities and differences between the Gospels. We learned that each writer presented a different point of view, each was directing his gospel to a different audience , and each had a different emphasis in relating the good news of Jesus.
