School Improvement:
Twin River Public Schools is engaged in a continuous process of school improvement. This past year (2006-07) the school just completed its third year in the five-year school improvement cycle. The School Improvement Steering Committee along with all Twin River Staff have selected the following improvement goal: All students will improve their ability to read and comprehend text in all curricular areas.
The SIP Steering Committee has written action plans based on scientific research with specific classroom interventions in order to help our students realize the school improvement goal. These implementations are being monitored, student performances are being recorded, and classroom level decisions are being made that directly impact student learning.
If anyone in the district has any questions concerning the school improvement process or are interested in serving on the steering committee please contact Amy Wattier or Barb Kuntz at 402-993-2911.
