After having taught English, speech and drama for many years both in Iowa and in Beemer, Nebraska, I joined the St. Francis staff. This is my third year here. At St. Francis I teach English, communications and direct the one act play and the speech team. I have three adult children who are also English and speech teachers. My husband Ron recently retired after having been a guidance councelor and teacher and football coach in Nebraska and Iowa. Ron and I have lived in Beemer for the past 29 years. My 50-mile drive to school each day gives me time to anticipate my plans for the day; my drive home lets me reflect on the happenings I had during the school day. My experience at St. Francis has been rewarding, and I am looking forward to the activities of 2004-05.
