COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR

This course is provided to further the student's enjoyment and practical knowledge of music through the vocal medium. Although this course is primarily geared toward vocal performance, students also learn sight-reading, eartraining, music theory, and the composition of music. Students are also taught to self-evaluate their performance skills as well. Many styles of music are studied and performed. Students are given the opportunity to perform in a large group, small groups and as soloists.
